How pricing works here
- Fixed, not hourly. We price the job, not the hours. If the job turns out bigger than the scan showed, we tell you in writing with the cost and the alternative before doing it.
- Written first. No work starts before a scope with the price, the dates and the names of the people on it.
- Half and half. Half at the signed scope, half at launch. Custom pieces are invoiced with the launch half.
- Your accounts. Shopify, model providers, hosting, code repositories: all in your name from day one. Nothing is held hostage to a renewal.
- Care plans are optional and cancel any month. They exist because most sites need an engineer on call a few hours a month, and a fixed monthly figure is cheaper than finding one in a hurry.
- No job under $2,500. Below that, scoping and testing cost more than the work and the result tends to be fragile. We will say so and name an off-the-shelf tool if one fits.

Questions about prices
Can you give a price without the free step? For migrations, the tier table above is accurate enough to budget from; the estimate confirms the exact figure. For AI work, the fit check is the price, because the task decides it.
Do prices differ for the UK, Canada or Australia? No. All prices are in US dollars for every country we serve. We invoice in USD; your bank converts.
Do you offer payment plans? Half and half is the standard. For the large migration tier we can split into three payments at scope, staging sign-off and launch.
Is there a discount for taking two services? When a migration and an AI assistant are scoped together, the assistant is priced at the floor of its range because the content work is shared. Ask in the estimate.
What is in the care plan, exactly? A named engineer, a monthly report, updates kept current, monitoring with alerts, and small changes up to the hours in your tier. Anything larger is scoped as a job. Cancel any month by email.
