This page says, in plain English, what this website collects about you, what we do with it, and how to ask us to change or delete it. It applies to riantsoft.com and to the email we exchange with you after you use it.
Who we are
The controller of the data described here is RiantSoft, founded in Ahmedabad, India, in 2009.

What the forms collect
Every form on this site asks for the same kind of thing: your name, your work email, the address of your website or store, and whatever you choose to type into the message box. Some forms ask one or two extra questions about your store or project so we can answer properly. We do not ask for passwords, card numbers or anything else sensitive, and you should not type them into a message.
What happens when you send a form
Four things happen, and you should know about all of them.
- The submission is written to a log on our web server, with the time and the page it came from.
- The submission is emailed to our team mailbox so an engineer can read it and reply.
- You receive an automatic reply confirming that it arrived and saying when to expect an answer.
- A short summary of the submission (your name, company or site, and the request) is sent as a notification to the team lead's phone through WhatsApp, so that enquiries are seen the same day. WhatsApp is run by Meta and has its own privacy policy.
When we then run a free check on your site or store, we look only at what is publicly visible unless you give us access in writing.
Analytics
We use Google Analytics 4 to count visits, see which pages are read and where visitors come from, and Google Search Console to see which searches bring people here. Analytics sets cookies and records an anonymised view of your visit. You can block analytics cookies in your browser, with a privacy extension, or with Google's own opt-out add-on, and the site works the same without them.
We do not run advertising on this site, we do not use advertising pixels, and we do not retarget you anywhere.
What we do not do
We do not sell, rent or trade your data. We do not add you to a newsletter because you sent a form. We do not share your submission with anyone outside RiantSoft except the service providers that carry it: our hosting provider, our email provider, Google for analytics, and WhatsApp for the notification described above.
How long we keep it
Form submissions and the email threads that follow are kept for 24 months from the last message, then deleted. If you become a client, the records that belong to the engagement are kept for as long as the engagement and our accounting obligations require. Server logs are kept for a shorter period for security purposes. Analytics data is kept under Google's standard retention settings.
Your rights
You can ask us at any time to tell you what we hold about you, to correct it, to delete it, or to stop using it. Email info@riantsoft.com from the address you used, and we will reply within one US business day and act within 30 days. There is no charge.
If you are in the EU or the UK. The GDPR and the UK GDPR give you rights of access, rectification, erasure, restriction, portability and objection, and the right to complain to your national data protection authority. Our basis for processing your enquiry is that you asked us to; our basis for analytics is our legitimate interest in understanding how the site is used. This paragraph describes our practice and is not legal advice.
If you are in California. The CCPA gives you the right to know what personal information we collect and how it is used, to request deletion, to correct it, and to opt out of its sale or sharing. We do not sell or share personal information as the CCPA defines those terms, and we will not treat you differently for exercising a right. This paragraph describes our practice and is not legal advice.
Changes
If we change how we handle data, we update this page and the date at the top. Material changes to how form submissions are handled will be noted here for 30 days.
