The foundation
RiantSoft started in Ahmedabad in 2009, in one room, with a handful of engineers who had worked at larger firms and had seen the same things go wrong on every project: estimates that doubled, clients kept in the dark, code nobody wanted to touch after launch. They wanted to build a place that worked the other way round, and they agreed on a few habits before they agreed on a name.
Write the job down before starting it. Price the job, not the hours. Keep the client's work in the client's own accounts. Show the work while it is being done, not only at the end. Answer every message within a working day. Finish, then stay available.
Seventeen years later those are still the rules, and they are on the pricing page and in every scope we send.
The team
RiantSoft is a team of engineers, designers and testers who have grown up together on ecommerce and business software. Most of us have spent the greater part of our careers here. We have built, patched, upgraded and maintained stores through two generations of Magento and the move many store owners have since made to Shopify; we have run Laravel, PHP, Node and .NET applications for US and UK businesses and for agencies delivering under their own name; and in the last three years we have added AI assistants and automations to the systems we already knew.
What holds the team together is a simple belief: the people who do the work should be the people who talk to the client. There is no sales department. The engineer who scopes your job is on your job, and the person who writes your daily log is the person who wrote the code that day.
How we work
- Written first. Scope, fixed price, dates, and the names of the people on the job. Nothing starts before it is written down and signed.
- In the open. A staging site or store you can open any time, and a short written log every working day.
- In your accounts. Platform, hosting, model provider, code: all in your name from the first day.
- In your morning. Engineering runs on India hours, which means work done overnight for a US or UK client is ready when they start. Written replies within one US business day; a US number answered in US hours.
- Measured. Every job has a before and an after we can show you: page speed, redirect coverage, tickets handled, AI citations, accessibility issues closed.
What we believe about clients
Most businesses that come to us already have something that works. They do not need it thrown away; they need a specific change made well by people who read what is there first. We say no to jobs under $2,500, to hourly billing, to overlay widgets sold as accessibility, and to anything we would have to guarantee rather than measure. We say yes to small, clear jobs done properly, because that is how a client stays for years, and most of ours have.

RiantSoft.com was rebuilt in October 2026 as a working example of what we sell: one question per page with the answer first, published fixed prices, the business described consistently everywhere, structured data where it is actually used, WCAG 2.1 AA, fast on a phone, and an assistant trained on these pages. We are measuring our own AI-search baseline the same way we measure a client's, and will publish the change here.
