These terms describe how RiantSoft works with clients and how this website may be used. Where a signed scope says something different, the scope wins.

Free steps
The free estimates, checks and scans on this site carry no obligation on either side. They are based on what is publicly visible, or on access you give us in writing, and are our professional opinion at the time, not a promise about what a full engagement will find.
How an engagement works
- Written scope. Before any paid work starts, we send a scope document: what is included, what is excluded, the deliverables, the timeline and the fixed price. Work begins when you have signed it and the first payment has arrived.
- Fixed price. The price in the scope is the price. We do not bill by the hour. If something turns out larger than the scope assumed, we tell you before doing it and you decide.
- Payment. Half of the fee at the start, half at launch or delivery. Custom pieces listed in the scope are invoiced with the launch half. Payment is in US dollars by wire transfer or PayPal. Invoices are due within 14 days.
- Change requests. If you want something that is not in the scope, we price it in writing and start only when you have approved it. Nothing is added to an invoice without written approval.
- Your inputs. Timelines assume you provide access, content and decisions when asked. If an input is late, the dates move by the same amount; the price does not.
- Working practice. You get a staging environment you can open any time, a short written log every working day, and a reply to every message within one US business day. Our team works India hours.
What you own
You own every deliverable: code, themes, designs, documents, data and configuration. Everything is built in accounts that belong to you (your Shopify store, hosting, AI provider account, domain registrar). We never hold your accounts or your domain. Open-source libraries and third-party apps stay under their own licences, listed in the handover notes.
After launch
Every project includes 30 days of fixes after launch at no extra cost, covering anything in the scope that does not work as the scope describes. Requests outside the scope are change requests.
After that you may take a monthly care plan at the price in the scope, billed monthly in advance and cancellable in any month by email; the plan ends at the close of the month already paid.
Third-party costs
Platform plans, app subscriptions, theme licences, AI model fees, domain and hosting charges are paid by you to those providers in your own accounts. The scope lists the ones we expect; their prices are set by the providers and may change.
What we do not do
- We do not sign or issue accessibility conformance statements, and we do not give legal advice about accessibility law or any other law. Our audits and fixes describe what we tested and what we changed; a lawyer can tell you what the law requires of you.
- We make no guarantee of search rankings, traffic, AI citations or sales. We do the work the scope describes and report the measurements honestly.
Confidentiality and data
We keep what we learn about your business confidential and use client data only to do the work. We sign a reasonable non-disclosure agreement on request. Enquiry data is handled as the privacy policy describes.
Liability
We take care in what we deliver and fix our mistakes. Our total liability for an engagement is limited to the fees paid for it. We are not liable for loss of profit, revenue or data caused by third-party platforms, apps or services, or by changes made to the deliverables after handover. Nothing here limits liability that cannot be limited by law.
Ending an engagement
Either side may end an engagement by written notice. You pay for the share of the scope delivered to that date and receive everything completed so far. If we end it for reasons other than non-payment, we refund any fee paid for work not delivered.
